According to the report (source), 20 year old survived a terrible crash by somewhat of a miracle that has only so far been explained by a four leaf clover! Yes, that’s right – a four leaf clover!
Mr Curry was close to death following a horrific crash after losing control of his vehicle, causing it to flip on to a wooden barrier. A post pierced right through Mr Curry’s body; however, A+E medical staff were amazed to discover that the post miraculously missed all of his vital organs! Not only this, but a four leafed clover was discovered stuck to his back by the medical staff, and thus the eerie conclusion was made. Certainly a miraculous story!
Medical staff also located his tree-shaped air freshener lodged inside him, which had pushed in to him by the end of the post as it had gone in. Staff handed him the four leafed clover, with Mr Curry stating: “I’d never even seen a four-leaf clover until this happened, so it was great timing, I suppose.” Mr Curry is certainly lucky to be alive – he certainly thought he was going to die when he discovered the post lodged through his body!
Whether you believe in luck, and that the four leafed clover worked a little magic in saving Mr Curry’s life, or whether you’re a little more sceptical and believe this is a simple coincidence, the fact that he has survived itself is certainly a miracle. As I stated before, road accidents are so common, and they can have horrific consequences.
Although accidents do unfortunately occur, in a lot of instances, another driver can be found at fault for the accident. If a driver causes an accident through their negligence – perhaps speeding, failing to pay due care and attention, intoxicated at the wheel etc – then they are liable to compensate the victim if they have suffered any injuries.
So what should you do? Speak to a firm of expert independent personal injury lawyers of course! Only a firm of expert lawyers will be able to give you the best advice and representation for a road accident compensation claim.
Avoid instructing solicitors through your insurers (often referred to as legal expense insurance) – all they do is sell the details of your claim to another solicitor for a referral fee. This referral fee cannot be claimed back by the solicitor at the costs stage, and is therefore taken directly out of the running costs for your claim; leaving you with a poorer service and an inefficient solicitor!
Avoid dealing with the third party insurers directly – never accept any offers from them unless you have had a medical examination and have a solicitor instructed to advise you if an offer is right or not. Insurers will try and under settle your claim! An independent solicitor on your side will make sure you get the maximum compensation every time.
And last but not least – avoid claims management companies! Get an actual fully qualified solicitor representing you; not some unqualified and inexperienced claims handler with a huge unmanageable caseload!
See who offers you the best advice – get an expert independent personal injury lawyer on your side. The choice is yours; so use it wisely!
