How much of my compensation would you deduct for your fees and service?

At The Injury Lawyers, for most accidents like public and occupier’s liability and work accidents, we give you 100% compensation. This means that we do not deduct the cost of our services, or our success fee, out of your compensation. So this really means that you get to keep 100% of your compensation.
How do we do this?
Due to the legislation changes brought into place by the Government on the 1st of April 2013, you are no longer able to recover the success fee and the ATE (After The Event) insurance premium from the other party if we win your case. But we have agreed for our clients to waive the Success Fee charge and self insure the claim so you don’t pay for a premium AND we take the risk of covering you on a self insured basis.
What makes The Injury Lawyers so different to how other law firms work? How can we do this?
As we have found out, it is now known that most other law firms are settling on a 25% deduction from your payout, which covers their success fee for winning the case. This would be deducted from your compensation, meaning that other law firms would only give you 75% of your compensation. What makes the Injury Lawyers so different from other law firms out there is that we do NOT charge you a success fee for winning your case. Meaning that with us, for any work, public or occupier’s liability, and many other types of accidents, you get to keep 100% of your compensation!
Unlike other companies, we don’t use any middlemen or marketing companies who sell your information around, and we never have done. Because of the unique way we work, all our Client’s come directly to us and always have done. So we have never wasted millions of pounds on referral fees like a lot of other law firms have in the past before they were banned in April too.
We also specialise and only represent victims for personal injury claims and we take on and win such a high volume of cases that accepting less fees works just fine for us.
In actual fact, you kind of get 110% compensation because the general value of claims has increased since April to help offset the fact lawyers are now charging clients. But because we don’t take a deduction, you keep the extra 10% meaning you actually benefit from the new system!
