As a firm of specialist medical negligence lawyers we take on high volumes of medical negligence claims with many involving the Welsh NHS. Now don’t get me wrong with the introduction of this blog – we are in no way attacking the hard working individuals of our countries NHS system who, for the most part, do a wonderful job.
But it’s important to know that you have the right to make a claim for personal injury compensation against NHS Wales as much as you do in the rest of the UK. Our jurisdiction is with England and Wales so we are able to pursue your case for you.
What we do
We offer you a no win, no fee with no upfront costs to pay at all. If the claim doesn’t succeed then you pay nothing toward our legal fees as we will write them off. That means we are prepared to fund the whole of your claim with the risk all being on us. We do this because we can assess the claim at the start and make an informed decision as to whether we think we can with the claim for you.
Because we specialise in medical negligence claims we can better assess at the start of the case whether we can win or not.
Do I have to travel far for a claim?
We have medical experts throughout Wales and we ideally don’t want you travelling any further than 25 minutes away from where you live. Appointments can be arranged in a matter of weeks and we can use the reports from the experts we instruct to help us value your claim and assess if we can help you with funding any private medical care.
Will I need to go to court?
It’s highly unlikely that you will ever need to go to court. The vast majority of claims are settled outside of court by our expert medical negligence lawyers. Even where cases require court attendance, it is usually by us on your behalf as opposed to you have to go to a hearing.
Will I need a home visit?
In some cases you may need a home visit and we’re quite happy to come out and see you at a time and date that is convenient for you.
Just call 0800 634 7575 or submit a contact request and we’ll call you back as soon as we can.
