Here at The Injury Lawyers we offer 100% compensation to our clients for most types of claims. Yes, that’s right – we really do offer 100% compensation for most public liability and employers liability claims. There really are no draw backs. Compensation is the amount of money paid to you as a result of the losses you have incurred from falling victim to an accident, and you can receive every penny of it!
Why we are able to do this?
We are able to offer 100% compensation to our client’s even though the law on the 1st April 2013 stopped other lawyers from being able to offer a 100% agreement.
Before the 1st of April 2013 all legal costs, including the success fee for lawyers, were recovered from the defendant. The Success Fee is an additional fee we used to be able to recover from the other side to help fund no win no fee claims as part of access to justice rules.
Since the change in law occurred, law firms can no longer recover the success fee from the other side. The majority of firms will therefore deduct a 25% success fee from your compensation to cover this. But here at The Injury Lawyers we agree to waive the success fee as long as you are compliant. In addition to offering you 100% of your compensation and not charging a success fee for most cases, we also agree to self insure your case so you don’t have to pay for an After the Event Insurance Premium the cost of which also became unrecoverable from April as well.
How can we do this?
All because of how we work! We are able to offer all of the above to our clients as they come directly to us. Most firms have been wasting money on referral fees for years but we never have… We also specialise in personal injury cases making us a very efficient firm. As we have previously won and continue to win a high number of cases, the reduced fees introduced by the government do not affect us as much as they do for other lawyers. It is not a rule for firms to charge a success fee – it purely comes down to choice and we choose to take care of our clients by putting you first and waiving the charge!
