There are a lot of personal injury lawyers out there that are more than willing to help with your claim. However, we feel that here at The Injury Lawyers we have dedicated a lot of time ensuring that we offer the best service and ultimately get our client’s the best compensation.
We have done this by looking at what clients really want and need, and by reviewing the competition and improving on what we class as the key areas.
In this blog I will address the No Win No Fee agreement we offer and why our service levels fly high above all the rest.
1. No Win No Fee Agreement.
Many solicitors now work on these and of course it is something that is often heard on the majority of lawyers TV advertisements. But what does it actually mean? A No Win No Fee agreement means that your solicitor should not seek any legal fees from you if the case is not successful, but also they will often seek to recover their fees from the other side if it is successful.
Our No Win No Fee is rather different when compared with the rest. We don’t just seek to recover our fees; we guarantee that we cannot come to you for any fees that we fail to recover, regardless of what we can claim back from the other side. This may only seem like a slight change in wording but it can have major results. For example: if a solicitors costs come to £3000.00, and the other side only agree to pay £2000.00, the standard no win no fee means that many firms run on makes it possible for them to come back and recover the shortfall of £1000.00 if they wanted to do so. This could be claimed from the Client. With our agreement we simply CANNOT do this. We say we cannot because in practice we cannot. It is there in black and white- and therefore we offer that bit of extra piece of mind.
2. Contact policy
We have a 14 day contact policy in place to ensure that every 14 days your file handler will give you a call or send you some correspondence to let you know what is going on with your case. This may just be to update that we are still awaiting a response; however, we feel that you as the client should always know what is going on. This is a very extensive contact policy when you compare it to other solicitors who in general may update once a month or not even have a contact policy in place at all. We also ensure that all correspondence is dealt with on the same day or within 24 hours if that is not possible and therefore nothing is ever left in an “un-urgent” pile.
3. Private medical care
One of our main concerns is getting you back on the road to recovery as soon as possible. Therefore, as soon as you are happy to go ahead with your claim we can get private medical care organised for you. We will look to recover the fees of the care from the other side; which is normally reasonable to do. This is not something that a lot of other solicitors provide.
