There is a piece of very important legislation called The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 which puts a duty on package holiday providers to compensate victims of negligence. In this case, the solicitors for the defendant side ruthlessly denied liability for the case. They alleged that wet floor signs had been deployed even though our arguments were that this was not the case.
